Corporate Finance in Emerging Europe

The FINANCIAL GATES GmbH, a company of the F.A.Z. group, is the leading German publishing house specialising in corporate finance and public finance. This publishing house launched FINANCE, the German financial magazine for entrepreneurs. Parallel to the 1st CFO Summit Emerging Europe & CIS in Vienna this fall, Financial Gates will publish the first issue of its new magazine, FINANCE EE - Corporate Finance in Emerging Europe.

FINANCE EE combines top-executive business-case experience with thorough background information and analysis by drawing from the experience of the expert FINANCE staff, external journalists and practitioners in banks, consultancies and companies.

The magazine covers the entire range of CFO responsibilities. Broadly speaking, these fall into three different areas: First, the CFO is a strategist as he provides the CEO with vital company information and cooperates with him in laying out the company’s course and navigating the developing business model through capital markets. Second, he serves as an overseer and manager of the company’s liquidity and its balance sheet. This, third, makes him an integral part of the company’s M&A activity.

FINANCE EE reflects this diversity of functions in its pages, dividing it into three equally important sections:Strategy, Finance & Accounting and M&A/Investment, plus a fourth section titled "country reports" that looks at individual countries and also includes sector reports.

The magazine addresses CFOs, other corporate finance executives and private equity executives from Emerging Europe (EE) and abroad already investing or seeking investments in EE.
